Authorship information and crediting.

By buying any of our game design and multimedia products you agree to read and comply with all the licenses and agreements applicable to your order (i.e. if you buy a multimedia pack with a single-product license, you should read, review and accept our royalty-free multimedia single-product license). Each license agreement tells you exactly what you can and what you can't do with the purchased product. Amongst other restrictions, there's also a paragraph about the authorship statement. Here, let us copy that for you:

The Customer is hereby obliged to give the author of the purchased Content his due credit
, by presenting his name or chosen alias and the PanzerFlakes.com website address somewhere within the published projects, i.e. during the opening or closing credits, on the main menu screen, in an additional "about" window or in any other place, in which all of the authorship information is displayed. You can freely edit the form of the content authorship statement, as long as it is both visible and legible to the end user of your projects.

As you can clearly see in the cited paragraph, all we require from you in the terms of crediting is that you display the author's name (or his/hers alias) and our shortened website address (PanzerFlakes.com) somewhere in your project, in the same manner you display your own credits, or the credits of your team, be it at the beginning of the game, at the end of the game, as a text scroller in one of the menu screens, or any other form you wish to use. You should of course state what part of your project is this person responsible for, be it Music, Additional music, or any other element of your published project.

Usage examples

Let's use an example here. Say, you've just published a game that uses one of our music packs as the sole soundtrack for the whole story. In other words: our musician (let's call him Joey the Musician) created a music pack (let's name it The Greatest Music Pack Ever) nad you've bought it off of our store and then placed within your project. You should now give credit to Joey, for example, by putting this in your opening credits:

Music by Joey the Musician @ PanzerFlakes.com

As you can clearly see, this authorship line informs the end user of both the music author's name and the site through which you obtained his music for your project. If you wish, you can write this in another way, as long as you cover both Joey's name and our address, it'll work. Here are some examples:

Music: Joey the Musician (www.PanzerFlakes.com)

Music created by Joey the Musician | PanzerFlakes.com

Soundtrack by Joey the Musician, www.panzerflakes.com

Music supplied by the PanzerFlakes.com Gamedesign Store,
composed by Joey the Musician

All music tracks bought from PanzerFlakes.com
(created by Joey the Musician)

As you can see, you may post this information in any way, granted that you supply the end user with information that something (music, additional music, graphics, additional graphics, textures, additional sounds, etc.) was created by someone, who sells his products via the PanzerFlakes.com Gamedesign Store. What font you wish to use, what color of that said font, whether to break the authorship line into three actual lines or add some fancy animation, that's all up to you. If you wish, we can help you with the authorship line, just contact us and we'll do our best to find the nicest, easiest placable solution.
